THE BIG QUEASY

Cs at the Smoothie King Center (love that name),
vs the Pelicans, 5th, and last, road game.
No RJ Hunter (hip), sore heel David Lee,
Ailing stomach, but still playing, is AB.

Crowder great hustle! AB FOR THREE!
Tyreke Evans is back, opens the floor for Gee.
Cs excellent ball movement, love what Amir can do.
Cs a 6-0 run; Davis early fouls--he has two.

IT FOR THREE! Cs playing swarming D!
Great passing from Olynyk to Tyler Z.
About 42% shooting each, it's a tie start Q2.
Minutes for Young. Cs' early turnovers won't do.

Anderson, Holiday are tough, they can score.
Cs are flying--crazy--all over the floor!
OLYNYK FOR THREE! IT FOR THREE! FOR THREE!
Cs a 13-2 run, (IT 19) Cs up 9 start Q3.

Cs early fouls and TOs, then AB FOR THREE--
A four point play! Ball movement! AB FOR THREE!
IT FOR THREE! CROWDER FOR THREE!
Cs an 18-4 run. Everywhere on the floor is IT!

Great rebounding Sully! Great playing Amir--
That he's working hard is more and more clear.
Olynyk, Turner to the hoop. Young, lefty, score!
Cs up 14 to start Q4!

Tons of ball movement, CROWDER FOR THREE!
Davis is quick, makes it hard to play D.
Young looks athletic, all over the floor,
More minutes tonight than added up games before.

Turner to Crowder, alley-oop!
Anderson, Cole leading the 'Cans (Pels?) group.
More ball movement, OLYNYK FOR THREE!
Career high rebounds (20) for Sully we did see!

Minutes for Rozier. SULLY FOR THREE!
Cs played well! Pelicans had little D.
CELTICS WON BY 18, built momentum, too.
Ended this road trip 3 and 2!

Happy Birthday, Bird.

"HE WHO KEEPS HIS COOL BEST WINS." ~Norman Cousins (no relation)!

Cs are on the Miami (WIN) and Mexico City tour
vs. The Kings--an interesting game for sure.
Fun: Demarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo--
The latter, of Cs Fans, he's says he's most fond o'.

Than Denver tonight's altitude is 2,000 feet more high.
Foul called on Cousins, to the refs he's starting to cry.
IT FOR THREE! AB FOR THREE!
Welcome to Boston--Amir's officially a C!

Cs an 8-0 run. AB FOR THREE!
What a block on Cousins--by IT!
OLYNYK FOR THREE. Then to the hoop!
15 point lead end Q1 by our Cs group!

Good things happen with Jerebko on the floor.
DLee hustle and D--hard for Cousins to score.
IT FOR THREE! Ball movement. IT FOR THREE!
OLYNYK FOR THREE! Best at attacking the ball? Every C!

Brad decided it was Zeller he would need,
(less Sully) because Cousins can't handle his speed.
Steals! Blocks! Hoops! Speed! Our Cs are fun!
IT's revenge! Cs up 15 when Q2 was done!

CROWDER FOR THREE! CROWDER FOR THREE!
AB FOR THREE! Ball movement. AB FOR THREE!
Rondo was aggressive toward Ref Kennedy--stare,
Read Rondo's lips. Yikes! Now Rondo's not there!

In fines and suspension he'll undoubtedly pay
Cousins (!) was the one with calming words to say.
CROWDER FOR THREE! Improving ball handling AB.
Some of our Cs best games are when on the court is ET!

Cs sloppy TOs, briefly--(happily) Jerebko did score!
Cs up 22 to start Q4!
Kings making a run (sort of). OLYNYK FOR THREE!
Olynyk's having a night! Hard to the hoop went he!

CROWDER FOR THREE! Cs were great, to a man.
Four 20+ scorers--fun to be a Cs Fan!
CELTICS WON BY 17 (because the young guys played, too).
So far this road trip: lost one, and won two!

"I LIKE TO USE THE HARD TIMES IN THE PAST TO MOTIVATE ME TODAY." ~Dwayne Johnson, University of Miami

Miami tonight, of five on the road this is two
(last night in Orlando--please no worse can we do).
The way to deal with Whiteside? AMIR FOR THREE!
All the Cs need is to make shots, rebound, play D!

Two early fouls on Crowder, AB to Turner alley-oop!
Steals! 21-6 run from our Celtics group!
Good things happen with Jerebko on the floor.
Odd: Miami has five lefties, at once, trying to score!

Turner is possessed, offense--defense, too!
On 67% shooting, Cs up 9 start Q2!
Gerald Green was in Green, he is no longer green
He even passed the ball, so rarely seen.

Turner steal! Control! Running the floor is DLee!
Heat a 12-2 run, mostly three after three.
Cs' TOs are mounting, but steals are, too!
Starting to see what Amir can do.

Third foul on Crowder, with Dragic he did trip,
Then helped Dragic up when he started to slip.
Third foul on Whiteside (no blocks). Wade's still a cry baby.
Turner's fave shot tonight? Steal from Wade? (smile) Maybe....

Cs up 6 to start Q3!
Amir steal! And AMIR FOR THREE!
AB coast to coast. Then AB FOR THREE!
(ugh) Blasts from the past from Wade we did see.

Fourth foul on Crowder; working alone is Wade;
Turner knows his game, in Chicago they played.
Heat a 14-3 run. AB FOR THREE!
Cs up 6 at the end of Q3.

Steal Olynyk, minutes for Rozier.
For Miami, it's Bosh's quarter--seems clear.
AB FOR THREE! CROWDER FOR THREE!
SULLY FOR THREE! Enough Wade for me....

Sully great hustle! Cs playing aggressive D!
Spectacular steal from Wade by AB!
Suddenly Miami's "hot," they are playing small.
Love Cs helping Cs whenever one does fall!

Yep, Wade's still a cry baby, at the refs he does yell--
No one ever calls a T on him--who can we tell?
Terrible call on Amir. Turner great steal and D!
Jerebko wow! Welcome Amir, you're officially a C!

Cs are great in the second of back-to-backs,
It is never (ever) heart our Team lacks.
In double figures, all the starting five for the Cs
Cs WON BY 10! MORE GAMES LIKE THIS...PLEASE!

"IT'S NOT EASY TO TEACH A CHILD HOW TO WIN." ~ Dikembe Mutombo

Cs at the Atlanta Hawks, "D. Mutombo Night" on TNT!
Hope, tho still without Smart, a better game we'll see.
Against the Nets, wasn't just Smart the Cs did lack--
We'll learn about our Cs, looking for a major bounce back.

Hawks Coach Budenholzer bumped a ref--just a fine!
Players are suspended for less, they can hardly whine.
Home court for RJ, played for Coach Dad, Georgia State,
Friends and his psychologist in the crowd! This kid's great!

AB first (and second) score! Crowder hard to the hoop,
Early silly fouls and TOs by this Celtics group.
Hawks an 11-0 run, AB FOR THREE!
Hawks crazy ball movement, great steal by AB!

AB FOR THREE! HUNTER FOR THREE! FUN!
Cs a 10-2 run, within 5 when Q1 was done.
HUNTER FOR THREE! TOs both teams we see.
One of the best passes? Off the head of D. Lee!

Cs great offensive rebounds! AB FOR THREE!
Crowder cut to the hoop, what a pass by D. Lee!
Hawks a 7-0 run, Cs within 9 start Q3.
Hawks continue their surge. IT FOR THREE!

AB FOR THREE! Need more points from IT!
Back to back to back forced TOs by a different C!
Schröder was taken down hard by D. Lee.
Replay looks like Schröder ran into his knee.

Good things happen with Jerebko on the floor.
IT is struggling. Cs within 8 start Q4.
Cs can't score! Too many shots out, not in.
Plus some missed free throws--hard to win.

Hawks a 17-3 run...I've lost track.
With Smart out can we get our mojo back?
Back to back fouls on Teague. Teams will find
No matter how hard they hit us we will grind.

A little dust-up between Teague and IT,
Coaches took 'em out. HUNTER FOR THREE!
No point focusing on the (down 24) final score:
We wouldn't have won with two quarters more.

13 Cs have been in the League five or less years.
Still getting over their big stage fears?
These Cs are young (not talking about James),
They'll age well together as we play more games!

"EIGHTY PERCENT OF SUCCESS IS SHOWING UP." ~Woody Allen, Brooklyn Native

Cs are in Brooklyn, of a home and home, this is Game 2.
Brad says "It's a process"--the season, and team growth, too.
No Smart smarts (knee), the way he plays is all heart.
He's out for two weeks (or six)! AB will get the start.

Cs beat the Nets by 25, 72 hours ago.
Tonight the resolve and effort of the Nets will show.
IT pushing it up the floor, SULLY FOR THREE!
Nets the quick start we expected to see.

AB FOR THREE! Early Cs turnovers--four,
Nets taking advantage at their end if the floor.
AB great block! Plus, great hustle, great D!
AB FOR THREE! Hollis-Jefferson? Who IS he?

On just 32% shooting, Cs within 5 start Q2.
ROZIER FOR THREE! Amazing what ET can do!
OLYNYK FOR THREE! Nets' bench a 12-2 run,
Nets, with energy and urgency, getting stuff done.

Joe Johnson's having a night--Bargnani, Larkin, too.
AB FOR THREE! No foul IT? Cs within 17 end Q2.
Effort! Energy! For the Cs these are lacking,
Without Smart, the rim we're not attacking.

Cs (finally) hustling! IT FOR THREE! FOR THREE!
Two quick fouls, then hard to the hoop--ET.
Zeller is in, and running the floor.
AB FOR THREE! IT drawing fouls, need...more!

Cs zone. AB FOR THREE! AB FOR THREE!
From 22 down, Cs within 8 to start Q3.
Great things happen with Jerebko on the floor.
Cs in transition, bodies everywhere, AB score!

Cs need to pick up the D. Good minutes for RJ--
Works with a sports psychologist to help him play.
OLYNYK FOR THREE! Love IT/Olynyk style--
Half thru Q4 Crowder in, been out for a while.

Cs great ball movement! CROWDER FOR THREE!
OFFENSIVE FOUL ON CROWDER SHOOTING THE THREE??
That's how he shoots, he's not kicking his leg out--
You know it's an awful call when you can hear Brad shout!

We knew the Nets would show up, Cs' effort was poor
Until the end of Q3 and all of Q4!
AB FOR THREE! Cs have their most threes this game,
Cs were impressive (sort of), but where was the D? Lame....

"WORK LIKE THERE IS SOMEONE WORKING 24 HOURS A DAY TO TAKE IT ALL AWAY FROM YOU." ~ Mark Cuban (Cs forgot)

Cs are home vs. Dallas after their short trip out West.
Irony? After Cs game, McHale has ($$ and) a rest.
No surprise there, into the air he did shout,
As no Rockets joined the huddles when he yelled, "Time Out!"

Dallas connections: Crowder was there, not their style,
And the Mavs are coached by former C, Rick Carlisle.
Cs a 7-0 start, CROWDER FOR THREE!
Cs playing zone and very physical D.

Cs are getting in the paint, streaking IT and AB!
Two quick fouls on AB. AB FOR THREE! FOR THREE!
Carlisle thinks firing McHale is "preposterous," strange--
First call to McHale? Danny Ainge!

No matter who's on the floor, the Cs Bench is cheering!
On a very long list of what makes these Cs endearing!
On 52% shooting, Cs up 15 start Q2.
Great steal Olynyk, but three early fouls, too.

Hmm, phantom third foul on AB. TWO phantom fouls on Lee....
Dirk's an elite offensive player, slightly less so on D.
FACT: Mavs' Felton, Barea, Williams born the exact SAME day!
BOO! One ref in particular not letting the Cs play.

In Steals and Forcing Turnovers the Cs lead the League,
We have so much depth, hardly show any fatigue.
With 8 Steals, 7 different players, Cs up 9 start Q3.
Cs stopped moving the ball, and stopped playing D.

Mavs picked it up--tie--Cs' play did dip,
Til AB flew in for the loudest tip!
Mavs flinging themselves all over the court.
Aren't there fines for flopping? It's not a sport!

OLYNYK FOR THREE! AB FOR THREE!
CRAZY! Cs up 8 at the end of Q3.
Where is Jerebko? IT FOR THREE!
Now Coach Carlisle doesn't like the fouls for Big D.

Cs are jacking up threes, if only they would
Get back to the paint where they are so good!
Mavs took their first lead, minutes left, around four.
SULLY FOR THREE! Mavs stopping IT's score.

Finally Isaiah went hard to the hoop!
Olynyk fouled out. No more steam our Cs group.
CROWDER FOR THREE! Crowder great steal!
No quit in these Cs! Their heart is for real!

Sully double double. Free throws Mavs missed two,
IT stole the ball, lost it, Cs within 2. Boo Hoo....

ROCKETTEARS (ROCKETJEERS)!

Cs' West trip continues, in Houston tonight,
IT on Lawson, first player around his height!
SULLY FOR THREE! IT FOR THREE!
Harden can shoot--not much D.

Rockets have struggled, crowd's dismay has shown,
Then the players to each other have made their anger known.
So that's the Cs' goal! These Rockets shoot threes,
Their default mode--need great D from the Cs.

Crowder a huge charge. Our old JET we did see,
Only Reggie and Ray ahead of him with the three.
IT FOR THREE! Cs must rebound, less TOs, too,
Cs within 4 to start Q2.

Olynyk an "altercation" with Harrell--Olynyk a T.
Cs can't find their offense and have forgotten their D.
Sully, Smart great hustle! IT FOR THREE! FOR THREE!
When the Cs run the floor, no Rockets on D.

Zeller and Hunter in. Cs an 11-2 run.
When the Cs jack up shots, little gets done.
Who goes baseline and finishes at the rim?
AB! That's always been said about him!

Cs 15-2 run: CROWDER FOR THREE! AB FOR THREE!
Rockets were up 15, Cs (8 steals)--TIE start Q3!
IT steal, Amir block! DH12 held Amir,
To the basket Ariza because no one was near!

HUH? Amir fell to the floor, under him was the ball,
Jones grabbed ball. Three Ts on lefties the call:
On Jones, Harden and IT--silly waste of time.
Smart steal, Crowder to the hoop, stopped on a dime!

Cs steals galore! Crowder running! IT FOR THREE!
McHale's not happy with the Rockets' lack of D.
Three quick fouls on Turner. AB FOR THREE! FOR THREE!
Cs a 28-8 run! Cs up 19 end Q3.

AB FOR THREE! Cs passes, steals, score!
Rockets' body language says so much more.
Rockets' crowd their own team is booing--
Don't you love how great these Cs have been doing?

Rockets a 15-2 run, Cs young(er) kids need to win!
Cs had been up 30, ugh, Rockets closing in?
(Phew) Smart passed the ball the length of the floor,
That gave Zeller a chance to score.

When the Cs watch this film, they should be mad--
They let down, will get an earful from Coach Brad.
Cs BY 16, swept this West trip, CELTICS PRIDE!
This season promises to be a fun ride!
