NBA (Sports) Teams are no longer what they once were;
Players seeking Fame, Money...Management cannot deter.
We used to follow our Teams, intimately familiar with each Guy,
Now that's an illusion, a ruse, dare I say a lie!
We know our Team, its System, its Management Style,
Its Chemistry, its Heart, its Character, all the while.
Teams like the Spurs and of course our Celtics, since the arrival of Brad,
(thanks Ainge) grateful for the Players we have, will have and have had!
We rely on Celtics Pride (past, Ubuntu), on Celtics Ball--
Hope Hayward will enthusiastically answer our call
To be part of Something Special, to live out his Basketball Dream:
Like current and past Players, he should embrace this Celtics Team!
